TOUR INFORMATION :

0810-0830 hours pick up from the hotel. From Kuching drive to the Santubong Boat Club (30 mins) where you board a boat and start your cruise towards the mouth of the Santubong & Salak Rivers. This estuary is the home of the elusive and rare Irrawaddy dolphin. The Irrawaddy dolphin lives in rivers, estuaries and shallow coastal waters and Santubong is one of the best places in Sarawak to see this unusual-looking dolphin. Return to the boat club around noon and transfer by road back to your hotel in Kuching.

Note: Dolphin sightings are not guaranteed. Since you may be exposed to the hot tropical sun we strongly recommend that you bring along a cap, sun shades and sunblock. Insect repellent is also recommended. This tour is not always possible during the wet season (November – February) owing to sea conditions.

The 0820 hours pick-up time for this tour is for hotels located in the city centre (e.g. Pullman, Hilton, Grand Margherita, Riverside Majestic, etc). If you are staying in another location the pick-up time is between 0750-0830 hours. We will email the exact time following confirmation of your order.
